Uniting Hands, Growing Community, Planting the Future

Donations: Home Depot

Chris Boyer, General Manager of the Barboursville Home Depot, has been simply AMAIZING in donating supplies, equipment, and man-hours to our Community Gardens project. In preparation for the April 22nd Earth Day event, and to help us reach our planting goals for the Weed and Seed's Barnett Center yard, Chris had 15 employees come with multiple truckloads of materials, mulch, sod, etc to build, install, and fill 9 raised beds for our first Community Garden space, plant multiple seedlings, and build a set of steps to our food planting area on the hill. We simply could not have had as spectacular an Earth Day Grand-Opening event without Chris Boyer and the Home Depot team's wonderful hard work.
