Become a SPONSOR  •  Participate with a PATRON table  •   Help SUPPLY this Event

We are celebrating our Third Annual Earth Day event for children and families. The event will be held on April 21, 2011

  • From 9am-2pm, join us at the Big Sandy Superstore Conference Center for adult and children's workshops.
  • From 4pm-7pm, meet us back at the Barnett Center, 1524 10th Avenue, for fun outdoor activities for all ages. The Barnett Center  is the site of our first garden and so many wonderful memories. However, in case of inclement weather, we will move the evening outdoor session to the Big Sand Superstore Conference Center.

Last year's event was a great success with over 500 in attendance (*photos coming soon*). We expect even more attendees this year.

We Need More Participants - Become a PATRON:

We would like to invite as many groups and organizations as possible to bring awareness and education to the children and families of Huntington. If you would like to be a PATRON and have a table at the event, let us know. Just plan to bring information about your organization and to have a hands on activity or educational demonstration to show kids a way in which they can keep themselves, their community and the earth healthy.  Please download either of the following Patron forms (Microsoft Word)(Adobe PDF) or CLICK HERE to find out more.
.

We Need SUPPLY Donations:

For those interested in donating SUPPLIES for the event, we have a List of Needs and would greatly appreciate your help. Please  CLICK HERE to find out more.
.

We Need Financial SPONSORS:

SPONSORS interested in providing a financial contribution to the Huntington Community Gardens will get more than just a Thank You. Your gifts will help create green growing learning environments for both young and old, gardens that nourish body, mind and soul for all who participate. In addition, some of those who contribute qualify for advertising space on our website and in our gardens.
